Oyster Shucking Experience and Sake Brewery Tour

~Join fishermen for shucking experience and savor the freshly caught oysters~

Hannan City’s Nishitori Fishing Port is a historic port where a variety of seasonal fish, such as Japanese Spanish mackerel (sawara), whitebait (shirasu), Japanese sand lance (ikanago), and octopus are caught. After closely observing the oyster farming process that produces Osaka Bay’s new product, “Boude Oysters”, you can enjoy freshly caught oysters at the oyster shed.
*We offer local sake that pairs beautifully with oysters.

Tea Ceremony Experience
Gofuso, Kishiwada city

~A graceful and special time at Kishiwada City’s Designated Tangible Cultural Property~

Located beside the south side of Kishiwada Castle Moat, Gofuso spans a 3,000 tsubo (approximately 9,900 square meters) featuring a main building showcasing traditional Japanese architecture, and three tea rooms offering a view of the tranquil garden. The main gate was relocated from the front gate of Chuseiin at Nara’s Todaiji Temple.
Enjoy a peaceful stroll through the Japanese garden, where the lady of the house will provide a special guided tour, sharing the history of the garden and the building.
We have also specially prepared Japanese cuisine using seasonal local ingredients for you.
Finally, you will be invited to the VIP tea room (Rian, Zangetsu-seki) within the garden, where a tea ceremony will be held using specially selected tea utensils. Please enjoy the exclusive and serene space created by seasonal sweets, flowers, and a cup of tea.
